does this fit a Gen 2 without carving up the factory bumper? I'll paypal tonight if it does. Thanks. Reason I ask is because I have a similar design on my Gen 1 Confer I think. No way it will fit my gen 2 without bumper mods.

Toasty, what's the purpose of angling it at the front bottom?

Changes the direction of applied forces and the acting surface areas in contact with the "lever". The receiver in this case is a 5" lever over a 4" x 1/2" plate, when i bent the plate that changed the direction the force is transferred slightly and creates a larger surface area for the plate to act against the lever. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
