I know many on this board would like to see a rock crawling machine but I am fine if the Montero returns as a very capable SUV like the current Land Cruiser. I am also shocked how many of you underestimate how capable and robust the Gen III Montero is.

At this time Mitsubishi is not interested in bringing the Gen IV Montero to the States. If we get the Montero it will be the Gen V Montero. The Gen V is scheduled to be released next summer as a 2015 model.

This is why there is speculation the Montero will be reintroduced next summer. I would expect to hear an announcement over the next few months.
