the teardown is now complete .. and time to start on the moulds . Just a point and pic .. as to why we dont use any steel inbedded into our products . ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/SSPX2205_zpsef6143d2.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/SSPX2206_zpsf9cc8ee4.jpg) there normally is a 10G piece of steel in this gap for "strength" (I guess) it's rusted and disintergrated to nothing , and I can Promace , MOST trekkers on the road today , if taken apart will look EXACTLY like this . I do know back then they didnt have the same materials as we do now , so , NO steel rienforcements in our products ... how I did my own Trekker ![[Linked Image]](http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j2/bj_bumperboy/MY%20Trekker/Picture061.jpg) we will be building simular to this .

I actually never needed one until Homeland Insecurity came along. Rolled thru Canada without issue.
Military passport expired light years ago. It's alright to admit it, we libertarians chafe at the idea of needing Government permission to do anything. And that's what a passport is. I too have enjoyed many decades of paperwork-free travel to Canada and Mexico and resent now needing "permission". Mexico still welcomes us without a passport, it's getting back into the U.S. that is the problem. So clearly the U.S. is the bad actor in all this. And Corey, I like what you've been doing at toyotafiberglass.com, but do you mean to say that you will now have more energy to devote to products and projects

Corey, Have you looked into selling weatherstripping for the 1st gen's? I'm looking for the cab to hardtop weatherstrip and toyota says it is discontinued. Do you have a source for this?

Yes , I have .. biggest problem right now is the capital expence . I have to purchace "in bulk" , and like some of the other products we have "out sourced" from other manufactures , I have found it's finantially just not "worth it" for us , it just dosnt sell quick enough for us to make any kind of profit , and I do have rent to pay , and limited storage !!
so at this time , I just cant help
.
