Aftermarket Oil Pressure Gauge for G54b

I would feel a whole lot better on my new turbo swap to have a real oil pressure gauge. However, the extra port on the oil filter housing (from Starion for cooler lines) where a Starion would have a gauge sender is totally blocked by the power steering pump. Then the gallery port has the factory Gen1 sending unit. Anyone mount an additional aftermarket unit?
Thought about having a block machined to accept 2 sending units (factory one with 1/8" BPT thread and aftermarket with 1/8" NPT) to screw into the factory port, but being BPT makes it a disaster trying to find a tap and die set.
