Hi, I have a 1982 Toyota PU.

On my carburetor, the mechanical linkage for the fuel metering plate (The one on the right with the hole in it) is completely missing.

Can anyone give me a description of how it works mechanically?

I know it works partially on vacuum... But where does the mechanical linkage come into play?

And, does the choke unloader diaphragm play a role in it's functionality?
