I want a 5 speed trans for this 4g64 setup im doing, There has to be a set up I can use and still be strong enough to handle 300+hp. I could go the Toyota 5 speed with wild bills adapters but I would prefer Mitsubishi!

Again... the V5MT1 is a beef tranny. It'll handle 300 hp IMO, but It is not going to shift quickly, and the ratios are going to be all wrong. The OD is not very aggressive, and you're going to be spinning some RPM's on the highway.

v5m31 is what's behind the 4m40 and 3.5 even some later 4d56's i'm not sure bout the current direct injected diesel's
the 4m40 version has the tractor low first gear.
landraider is correct these trannys are beefy but not quick shifting tranny's and the o/d's are short.

here's moby dick(v5m31)

I see, I think with the stock AT I have now im around 2300 Rpm at cruz speed on the freeway. Not as worried about that but more interested in strength and reliability. I emailed Bill on the trans adapter and all he needs is shaft length and spline count, with that info he can make adjustments for the Toyota 5 speed.
Here is a picture of one from a 99 4runner.
By the way im not trying to hijack the post just wanting to come up with a good idea and reliable solution/combo for the rigs.

05+ tacoma's and fj cruisers seems the fj has little a longer 6th than the taco kinda strange you would think it would be the other way around since the fj is heavier. tranny name is RA60F

here are the ratios
RA60F (Tacoma 4wd 6 speed)
4.171
2.190
1.488
1.193
1.000
0.849

RA61F (FJ 4wd 6 speed)
4.171
2.190
1.488
1.193
1.000
0.799
