Awesome! Glad that worked out for you. On the Toyota's we'd drop the inner axle into the tube and the birfield would hit really hard, and inertia would break the clip inside the birfield and the inner axle would fall right out. Then you'd tack weld then grind down a spot on the splines to keep it from going too far into the birfield... neat hack on those. Did a disk brake conversion on a FJ55 that way. But that's for another forum.
