6g72 = 3.0
6g74 = 3.5
6g75 = 3.8

same number whether sohc or dohc, and in the case of 6g72, 12 or 24 valve. 3.0 came in two flavors, sohc 12v, and dohc 24v. 3.5 came in two flavors, sohc or dohc, both 24v. 3.8 only came in sohc 24v.
