Hey fellas, need some help with my brothers rig. Here's a list of what's been done so far:

Timing Belt
Tensioner and pullies
water pump
rear cam o rings
valve cover and spark plug gaskets
valve stem seals
lifters
spark plugs

Here's the issue: new lifters are loud as hell even after pumping them up with light weight oil before installation. Also hearing a knock from the engine that wasn't there before we did all this work. Sounds like spark knock to me, so I'm wondering if we messed up the wires to the coil packs on top of the engine. I can't seem to find definitive info in the manual, so I'm hoping one of you SOHC guys could trace your wiring to verify if we have it right. I see numbers stamped on the top of the intake, and we currently have the wires routed in that order, but something doesn't seem right. Thanks in advance.
