Just read the 8/28 posts on brakes. Uneven wear for me was caused by partially seized up caliper pistons. In the process of full replacement, both sides, rotors and pads as well. Now for my call for help....I do not know what was in the minds of the engineers in 1993, but that little hard line between the caliper and the flex brake hose is just about the dumbest thing I could even think of. Does anyone out there have a part number, after market or not, of a flex hose that will go directly to the caliper? As I do not see a binding or rubbing issue if the hard line is bypassed, would love to convert.

Input please. I live in the rust belt and those little hard lines are front and center to corrosion. (3.0 4x4 sr5)

Thanks, Bill
