Need a Spot

I was wondering about that...is that what some refer to as a "false neutral"? Once its positioned properly as determined by whether the car will move in gear I guess I could put a hinge cover over it to keep from moving or grind it out as you suggest. Great ideas! I wish I had come to this site sooner as I have been going round and round on this! Thank you!
