Coilovers would be upfront in the case of IFS equipped truck.

I would definately supply technical info to the aftermarket, personally if i had to. Luckily one of the goals is to utilize parts in existance and standardize others for cross application support. For example the 30 spline outer axles i mentioned would give us instant access to upgrade shafts already available.

I'd say the goal is multi purpose rig, buy and build to your needs.
