The wire from the sensor is gone.Here is the sensor,i believe this is the one for the gauge? also,i have 2 more harness ends that aren't hooked to anything.1st one has 2 prongs inside it,and it is on the alternator harness section. 2nd one is near the wiper stuff.possibly this is the headlites squirter harness? http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/6103/pyvt.jpg 1991 Montero RS Re: coolant temp wire? To test the one you find, turn on the key and ground the wire for a second and see if the temp gauge goes full scale hot. Last edited by fasteddy; 09/27/13 12:26 AM. The gauge is the stock one.
