Alright, lawyer'd up. I'd rather not play this game, but since I'm playing I might as well win.
After meeting with him for 1.5 hours I'm not the least bit concerned. He's gonna have a field day with this mess. My only job now is to find a good replacement.

Yeah it's a little scary. He has our home address and phone number. I hate that part. Now that my dog is gone I'm not sleeping as well. Today on the way to school my 4 year old randomly said "I wish I could climb through this window. The bad man had google-ly eyes."
I'd love a GEN1 if I could find a good one. My wife told me last night she likes GEN1's the best and she found a GEN1 shorty on craigslist. I haul the kids to school everyday, so I like 4 doors.
I'm currently open to GEN1, 2, 2.5, and 3. I like all of them.

Thought I'd give a final update on this situation. The nice gentleman received 24 months in prison plus the 7 months in jail while he was waiting.
The Montero is still kicking. I have put 15,000 miles on it since the wreck. I have not come across a suitable replacement yet.
After it's all said and done financially, all of the medical bills and lawyers fees paid, I walked with $15,500 and kept the truck. I'm not a huge fan of lawyers, but I'd certainly recommend one in a situation like this. He made it very easy on me. Now I have to fight the urge to buy a GEN3!

24 months is all? A career criminal like that guy needs put down like a bad dog. Glad to see you're doing well and got something for your troubles. Maybe next time that guy tries to jack a montero it will be mine <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />
