Just wondering what other wheels fit the Montero SR? I have looked at current FJ cruiser wheels but center bore seems to be too small. Anyone have any luck with others? Ford, GM, etc?

Most of the wheels can be thought of as hub centric, though in practice may be nut centric. Aftermarket wheels are the easiest to find. However, you can also use Montero Sport wheels, 16" and 17" diameter. Otherwise, just buy a grinder and hog them babies out! :~)

Is there any Japanese OEM that equipped with 15x8 alloys? I've not seen anything in 15" wider than 7".

I have swapped all of them around on each others vehicles, they all fit fine.I have had yotas on my chevy, chevy on my Isuzu and Isuzu on my chevy, nissans on my Mitsubishi etc. 90% have been 15 rims.hardly ever went bigger

To be clear, Toyota steel wheels will fit: Isuzu rims fit the rear, but not over the 4wd hub on the front: See grinder comment above, as this will be necessary for some of the rims suggested...or prepare for disappointment. Correct information was presented in the second response.
