About a month ago I used Irontite (red cap, not blue) liquid ceramic head gasket repair. Flushed engine real good,,,refilled with filtered water, slowly added the stuff , fast idled a half hour the drove it around and over the mountain. Drain block, all the way by pulling out block drains. It should have cured properly. Flushed with H20 and then added the h2o coolant,,,done , I thought.
Water usasage stopped for 3 weeks/ 300 miles.
Last Sunday I was steaming like a locomotive. Water also spewing to outside at cyl. 5.
Drove home 5 miles and by then about a quart of H20 was in the pan.
I'm worry about residue of ceramic being in oil now.
After this 19th nervous breakdown,,I'm gonna drain oil refill with ATF and idle till warm,,let it sit a day and drain ATF and h20 out,,,,and plan for non-op licence untill I deside what to do.
All opinions and prayers and pokes welcome.
