Another question:
The SR rear i got was from a 1996. But stupid me didnt check what engine was on the donor. There was 3.0 and 3.5 available that year. So ive heard if 3.5 i have a 9.5 inch ring gear and if 3.0 i have a 9 inch gear. So i dont know what ring gear i have. My 4.875 ring gear is 9 inch, and ive read a couple of times that it and the pinion will fit where the 9.5 inch gears fit. So is there a way to know which size is in my diff before busting it open? Thanks in advance!!
