Many times they are, Angelo. Also, I have received parts that are simply repackaged, yet stock, factory parts. I like to pull up a couple of websites simultaneously, like Rock Auto, Auto Zone and O'Reilly and compare pricing side-by-side to make sure the shipping is justified. Sometimes the difference is small, like on a valve cover gasket set for a 2.4l; sometimes it is huge, as in a full set of four engine mounts for my neighbor's Honda Accord. I was able to save him over $100 just on those by ordering them. Good quality aftermarket, too.
