I like the all wheel drive option for sure. The case is massive and build very well. The adapter is a little crude but functional. Iv put a lot of time and effort into making this work out. Should be really fun to drive behind the 4g64 power plant.

This is very, very cool. When do you plan on making these available to those of us who might be so inclined?

I feel after all I have accomplished on this,it maybe in my best interest to have a much better template cut out using a water jet method. im working with a friend to make this happen. I will keep you posted on that for sure.
As for the trans case you would have to send that to me for the machine work. Not a expensive deal at all.

Here is the new upgraded toyota 5th gear bearing(left)

Here you can see how the new bearing has a needle bearing all the way across instead of the stock weaker design,

So my goodies came in, New Toyota 5th gear set and small parts kit with snap rings. The Toyota G54 and G58 are the same transmissions as the Ax jeep trans other that the rear tail housing which can be swapped around

And Look three pedals!!!!

I made a custom clamp/retainer on the lathe to hold the snap ring on the 5th gear main shaft. This is the only weak link that has been known to reek havoc on the trans. you can buy one from this website http://www.allstategear.com/AX5%205th%20GEAR%20SNAP%20RING%20RETAINER.htm
but I felt 4 bolts is better than two:D Time to put the case back together and prepare for the install
