Time flies when having fun, Looks like you are gaining on it.

Quick question, what tires are those?

Yep its getting close!
The tires are Maxxis bighorns. Vey good quality and wear evenly.
Low road noise on highway as well.
I have the 32X11.50R15LT but plan for 33 or 35" <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

The biggest I can go is 235 85 16. I did not do a body lift on the truck. I have a maxxis on my dirt bike, wonder if it is the same company.

My futura tires are very similar in pattern, but I have 2 of 5 bad. $200 a piece for those maxxis in my size.

Curious to see your lil beast come to life. Do you run the engine etc?

33" fit with no lift. 235s felt un-stable to me being so small, back 20 years ago when such small tires existed... 31" with the extra width feels a ton better. Of course off-road you need bigger then 31s...

So I am waiting on a few parts for the 4g64 so I switched back to the 5 speed. I made a centering adapter on my lathe to keep things in line. This way I know the two parts are centered. All I need to do now is drill my holes and get good hardware. For those that ever need a jeep drive shaft made I was referred to a guy that custom makes them for you. They are balanced at 100 MPH with splined slip and use HD 1310 ujoints. Shipped for 150$ you can not beat that. I bet if you needed a mitsu one made he would fix you up.
I will have them make my front one after I get my Dana 44 sas installed.
