Fixed the rotted fuel line and put my rack on with some new LED lights. Got to get my winch bumper on from my brown Montero. Seems the frame rails are wider on the V6 then the 4cyl? Have a snorkel coming from Ebay. Got some LWB spring and new shocks for it but will have to wait to spring.

Nice.

Yes the v6 frame is wider.

Is the ebay snorkel a fiberglass one from a Malaysian seller Rexypow? Good stuff if so.

The new springs are easy to put on with just a floor jack & basic tools. Good time to also remove your rear antis way bar iAd well... So long as you don't drive like an idiot and have a good feel of your vehicle dynamics, you should be fine with it off.

Yea got the snorkel from Rexypow. It just cleared cleared customs should be here on the 19th. Was going to get the safari snorkel but the price was just not in my Budget. Yea the springs are not that hard of a job, but don't have room in my garage to do the job, so I don't feel like being in the cold and laying in the dirt driveway The sway bar are going in the scape pile

There really is only a minimal difference in the width across the frame horns on the 4- and 6-cyl Gen I frames. The 4-cyl uses a more straightforward piece for the bumper mount. The 6-cyl frame has a more complex piece to achieve the same purpose. I can provide measurements if needed.

Pretty bad when I can recognize my old rig's frame horn... Specifically the damage I inflicted on the tie down loop.

Maybe I can get away with a little bit of grinding on the horns and bumper mounts then I don't have to cut and reweld the mounts.
