Anyone selling or know where to grab a 3.5? I guess I can do a Diamante SOHC. Found lots of talk about the swap in the archives but didnt see any with real info or threads were someone did it. Not sure if I can use the diamante block and my heads or stick with the SOHC. If I do SOHC what do i use for intake, engine mounts, timing covers etc..?
Machine shop quoted me $1500 in just parts to redo the block

Which one should I look for? Diamante might be cheaper but will DOHC heads work? Got a quote for $1300 for a whole used DOHC.

IIRC, a diamante engine uses different cams that are tuned differently (less torque iirc) plus the dipstick may be on the wrong side. Others here can confirm that since I've only read about this swap.

I have an SR motor pulled from a running truck I was planning on installing in my Raider, but I decided to go GM power plant. I might be too far away, but Id take 1k for the entire engine.

You need to clarify 3.5 DOHC or SOHC...

The trans overheats, the transfer case is worn to the point the chain rubs against the case, and th engine is a oily lump. Body is coming off the frame after my buddy's tranny swap. And it's getting done up But yea, the engine I have is from a 95SR DOHC 3.5
