It looks good, but I'd be worried about catching the snorkel on branches in some of the places I go. Does the intake swivel around?

Hey Bernoulli, if'n you're talking about mine, take a good look on that passenger fender. I was on my side going up a hill, scraping for a feet, and the snorkel top stayed on just fine, just getting a few scrapes and scratches on it.

Cool!

Off-Roader, you have that same one on your GEN2? Fits OK? Pics

Matt, be careful if you buy one. We have the wider fenders so the snorkel fits differently. Plus I don't even know where to buy one if you did. Mine was from a group buy years ago. I was nervous cutting a 4" hole into my fender!

Monty, you have an adapter between the engine bay & fender? Looks good by the way

Hmmm, what IF there was a way to run the snork into the fender, not connecting it directly to the intake inside the engine bay, so that the stock intake still was connected the same as factory - but...mostly seal that inner and outer fender, save for a drain hole or two at the bottom? There'd be a big plenum that could fill up with pressurized air when driving on the highway, it would stay mostly watertight when fording, and there wouldn't ever be an issue in pouring rain (not to say there is now, but it's possible...). Anybody ever try that? There could even be a manual "Y" valve to directly connect the snorkel to the tube if you needed to bypass the 'fender plenum,' controlled by a simple cable.

It's just an idea, don't flame-on...
