Hate to say it, but sometimes we just have to bite the bullet and call a shop and have the hoopty fixed. At least it'll be inside someplace and maybe it'll start.

That could be a possibility in the next week. Before heading to work today, I gave it one more try. Just cranked it over and it started. But it seemed as soon as I stepped on the gas pedal it would not rev up at all. It just bogged out and died and wouldnt start up again. So im guessing carb problem of some sort. Im going to take the carb from the other raider and swap them around.

Have you checked the choke as closed on a cold start? To get the chooke to close, you have to press the gas once. On my old 2.6 carby, in really cold stuff, you had to pump the gas 3-4 times to get enough gas in there for enough cold start enrichment, and even then, it would stumble for a while until it warmed up some.
Also test the ecu engine coolant temp sensor as that also affects cold start enrichment via the duty cycle of the mixture solenoid vavle in the carb.
Not responsible for advice not taken...

Thanx to everyone who replied and to the OP sorry for thread jacking...
Anyways its up and running again. New starter is a beast, the problem was that the cable to the carb wasnt connected. A buddy came over and watched the carb while I was pumping the pedal. Nothing was moving and it just wasnt hooked up properly. I also did replace the fuel filter last month also.

Might want to unhook it, it was a high of 9 today and my wife says to me, do you think the Raider will start? I said of course why? She says well it heats up a lot faster and is way easier to park, needless to say its shopping right now. METALMOVER
