Well you'll need some trick setup to stay on with the momentary switch, in a gen 2 the switch tells the locker computer what to do and then it takes care of the rest.

*on a side note we need a write up of the detent bypass on the T-case to use the locker in all modes including OD for those with 3.15 gears.
