i tried switching covers with the hazard switch. while they are both rockers, they are different types internally and the cover wont work due to a different "rocker" design. . also, be careful disassembling the switch, if the rear gate lock switch is anything like the hazard switch it is delicate inside and old plastic is prone to breaking. it took me few tries and switches to figure this out.

i'm using a hazard switch now with it's original face. it will light up when on, looks factory and is too easy to screw with anything else.
