My 89 v6 is a 5 speed manual and has the #4625 axel. No Limited Slip
Been running 31x10.5's forever! Thinking of trying 33x 12.5 Goodyear Duratracs - any comment?
Pro Comp XAT 32x11.5's are also an option

Pro Comp XAT 32x11.5's are also an option IT's in the FAQ but I see you're not on here that often so you probably missed that. 33's will fit with a 2" BL (4crawler.com makes them). You'll need to trim the rubber end caps on your front bumpers and probably torque your torsion bars. Oh, and most shops won't mount them on the stock rims so you may need to upgrade to wider rims.

I run them on my '88. 2" rear OME leafs, you could probably get by with the rear coils from a Gen 1 LWB, front torsion crank to level. Non-stock front bumper or trim the ends on stock one slightly. 8 1/2" wide wheels.
I did run them on my '88 for a year prior to the suspension lift, but they occasionally rubbed a little.

2" BL with home made bumpets. No TB twist 4 door SR springs in rear gave a good 2" of lift ![[Linked Image]](http://i598.photobucket.com/albums/tt64/fastfoodvw/The%20Ram/20131128_080756_zpsbd730e4a.jpg)

Hey Russel,
Thanks for that link....I remember reading that a long time ago.....thought there'd be some newer info.
Right, so 33's will fit...but 12.5's will rub depending on the off set of the rim...right?
I'm running 89 Toyota 4Runner 15 inch rims...I'll have to check to measure how much clerance I have with the 10.5's on there now.

Simply trim the front bumper ends and push the sheetmetal along the interior front edge of the front wheel well out of the way. I used 8.5" wide rims in front and 10" in the rear and did not have rubbing issues over the course of about 40K miles with a mixture of used all-terrains and brand spanking new muds. I have other photos to share off board if you like, as I've polluted on this topic often.

Hey Monty, Thanks for the reply. What's "1" BL, 0" SL"? I'm more worried about the 33's rubbing the frame
Is your rig a V6? With the 33's what have you noticed with your performance and gas milage?

BL = body lift
SL = suspension lift
You "might" get a little rubbing on the inside of the rear tires in the rear, right at the top where the pad for the body sits on the frame. I know that happens with my leaf sprung 4-cylinders, but I don't know if it will affect yours. It's very minor.
By the way, I have 33z12.5-15's on Gen 2 7" wheels on one of my two doors and they do pretty well. Little rubbing up front at steering lock, like when I take a hard right out of a declining driveway onto the street. More noise than anything else.
