JB, Thanks for the info
How'd the 33's effect your performance and gas mileage?

There's this...Calc'd RPM at 60 mph in 4th gear (1:1)...to be used as a comparative tool.

From those calc's, I should be adjusting my actual speedo reading by 1.13, rather than the 1.1 that I usually figure in my head (I add 10% to everything; 60 indicated is 66, 15 mpg is really 16.5, etc), since I believe my '95 originally came with 31" tires and now wears 35's. But I checked mine with GPS, so I'll bet mine's close enough.
I posted an earlier reply to the post above Rock's. Not sure where it went...

Gas mileage? <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> With the 5.86 gears and 31s, right?

Well it's to late to turn back now! I broke down and bought FIVE 33x12.5 Duratracs for $895 I'll post some photos after I get them mounted.
All right - I guess I should have said how much worse is your MPG with the 33"s
Whats the gearing/ratio of OEM #4625 axles

Whats the gearing/ratio of OEM #4625 axles Nice price. Not sure. Also depends on the current mpg and engine/drivetrain condition. Don't forget to compensate based on the larger tire diameter for both the mpg and maintenance mileages. Also you can improve the mpg by swapping to a 90-91 transmission with the lockup torque converter. 89's didn't get them. Ratio of that r&p is 4.625:1
