Does anybody come here anymore(loud echo)? I got new leather seat covers for the vette, new moccasins, 2 pair of jeans , 2 shirts, and no check engine light on the jeep. What did you all get?.....Oh, I forgot a Russian sniper rifle.....Weeeee for me! Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

Sounds like a good haul....

I treated myself to an early Xmas - Ruger Mini-14, Smith&Wesson M&P .22, and a Para Elite Commander 1911 .45 ACP.

And, after several aborted attempts to get my jeep to pass smog, all leaks are plugged and it did pass - slightly over 2 months in the shop during which the gas tank was removed three times....

Sounds cool. I have always wanted a 1911, but my instructor at Lejeune told me, that if it came down to me using a hand gun, something has gone terribly terribly wrong. I'm still going to get one, before they take away my gun rights...be cool Mike

I got some really nice replacement winch rope (3/8" x 100' Warn Spydura) to replace my 12 year old 5/16" Amsteel Blue rope. Hmmm, in 12 years I guess I never re-spooled that last layer of rope against the drum since it always looked like it was so perfectly spooled. Rust seems to have merged with the side of the rope against the drum. I got it off, but that was ugly.

Worked Christmas. Made some jambalaya and went thru my cards before work. Dropped off some pies at a potluck and grabbed a Tupperware thing of turkey and a few sides. Doesn't take much to make me happy.

I was going to overhaul the 2.7 in the Runner this fall, but am now sitting on the $$ in case things go south with some family at the moment. Not cheap to get out of here these days to the '48.

Still on the hunt for either a Springfield Scout or might break down and pick up a Rossi youth Trefecta.

Mike, I think that saying was something like, "A pistol is what you use to get back to the rifle you shouldn't have dropped."

Playing designated driver for a local watering hole New Years' eve.

Where am I? I'm right here!

For the Monty, a First Alert Automotive fire extinguisher & Escape Gear custom fit seat covers, and Lisle lock ring pliers.

For me, a pound of gummi bears, a new camera (fuji x-e1), and a Pogo Plug personal cloud unit.

No new guns (already have a few). Maybe next year I'll fully adopt that one more expensive hobby.
