so after my road trip this weekend i found trans fluid leaking. it appears to be coming from the point where the new cable goes into the transmission. my guess is that i missed the o ring on the old cable and it is probably still in there. Or it didn't snap down all the way.

If i have to remove it to get the old o ring out, is there an easy way to get the 4 clips at the trans end of the cable to release easily, or should i just disconnect the cable and pull? I don't want to break them off like those on the original cable.

Not looking forward to dropping the crossmember and pan again, but hey, practice makes perfect, right?!
