Hey guys, so i bought the beast. Just now checking stuff... I was gonna start opening it up to check timing and cam and crank for physical damage. I noticed that there is no spark like i thought but there is no fuel either. Is there so ething off the top of anyones head that can cause both spark and fuel to be cut off? Coincidence? Thanks in advance, guys.

Well, that narrows it down a little bit. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'd start with the basics - check all the fuses and fusible links, both under the dash and under the hood. Are the multiple wires at the positive battery terminal connected and clean?

Has the truck been messed with prior to you acquiring it, as far as anyone trying to diagnose it? That could open up all kinds of additional issues.

If no spark will the ECU allow fuel?

All fuses links and relays seem good. I checked for voltage signal at the tps connector since the ecm is supposed to send those 5 volts when turning the key to ignition and there is nothing.... So im guessing i'll check power supply and ground to the ecm, if both those are good, is it pretty safe to assume its the ecm? Thanks guys!
