Right, just joking about the center of gravity. I was going too fast on a curvy road. I was spinning nice and horizontally until I left the pavement and got a little traction. It might be a candidate for a soft top, but I'm one of those weirdos that puts almost all highway miles on her. Who knows? Might not be able to hear the wind over the 3500rpm.
Let's see, Bottomfeeder, I'm in Cleveland, just north of Houston. And Mudraider, it does suck that we're so far apart, but thanks to this site and Al Gore for keeping us in touch and keeping these vehicles on or off the road.
And thanks again for the replies.

Damn,
that looks harsh. I'm assuming everyone was okay, I sure hope so.

I've owned 5 of these Gen 1's. I don't know what I would do if I were in your shoes.

Glad you walked away from that. Figured you kind of flopped and rolled off road.. not all out bronco2 style.

If it was me I'd almost say hit up a u-pull for glass and lights. Harbor freight for a dent puller and the 4lb hammer. Get a manual winch to pull out the roof a bit. Rattle can to touch up and done.

In all seriousness, I'd do a shoe string alignment just to make sure nothing in the front suspension suspnsion got damaged before committing to any repair.

88 Montero, StarQuest turbo, Kormex 5speed +tuff-pan w/phoenix f. stage2 clutch, 4in lift+33' tires, 4.875 lsd, short-throw shifter, Aisin hubs, SR big brakes, gen2 uca's, elantra alt, and so much more... 16g turbo w/hardpipes + 4.90 locking disk-brake axle soon (maybe lsd or aussie front??)

Getting the Wheeling Fever
Hate to see a classy veichle damaged, but s**t happens.
Makes me wonder, I haven't got mine on the road yet, but
at my age 68 years, reflexes are slow and many health problems.
