LOL, yea I found that out - that the A/T and oil temp were one in the same.

However, since it flashed at startup - i doubt very highly that the oil temp could have got that high within the first minute- the engine didn't even get above the cold mark yet.

OK - I found the hydralic and line pressure tests in the fsm.
it says to test pressure at each rpm but it only lists idle and stall.
Does stall mean at shut off? or am I suppose to stall my engine somehow?
