ok I tore everything down and was able to get the cable to go back and forth but still seems to stick at each end. Is there any good penetrating lube I can get to work down the housing? And once I get it moving smoothly is there a lube that can be used to keep it from binding?

Also when I took down the pan there was a gray sludge coating the magnets. no shavings or particles. Is that ok?

I was reading the manual and it says that rtv is to be applied on both sides but when I took the pan off it only had sealant on one side. What is yalls recommendations?

If I am not able to get it to work how quickly can do dealership parts take? Will a dealership send to your house?

Oh yeah it is a little devil to hook and link the cable in, but a good pick set has helped with it. While I had everything off I cleaned the crossmember to look like new.
