Hey guys, quick q. I think I may want to replace the ECU in my 1997 SR, but the only junkyard one available is at a junk yard across town is one from a 1996?
Can I swap these out?
89 Raider - V6, Automatic, rear LSD, A/C Retrofit, Cruise Control Retrofit.

If you call a mitsubishi dealership with your Vin and the Vin of the donor they can tell you. If they're not try allcomputerresources.com super cheap and lifetime warranty.

Can I swap these out? No, 96 Sr's had the DOHC 3.5 while 97 was the first year for the SOHC. ECU will not interchange.
