I know there are some write-ups on the forum for lifting the Montero - but I haven't been able to find a good guide for suspension lifting that doesn't have broken links and missing images.

Whats a good solution to suspension lifting the montero about 2"? Are there kits available?

Thanks!

You need to be more specific, like which year Montero and which lift do you want to install? Here are several great threads right on this forum http://www.4x4wire.com/mitsubishi/reviews/ome/ and http://www.4x4wire.com/mitsubishi/tech/valley_springs/ Those should get you started.

Now we might be getting somewhere, the process is the same for all of the gen 1 and 2 Monteros. Now google 89 Montero suspension lift and we get this https://www.google.com/search?q=89+monte...&channel=sb and https://www.google.com/search?q=89+monte...:en-US:official

Please learn how to start looking things up for yourself, it's very easy!

Thanks for the info. Yes I've done this search before, but I'm asking for the best, or a recommended method. No offense, but I'm asking what the best tool for the job is and you've simply shown me the entrance to home depot. =)

I see that there are coil suspension lifts and spring lifts...What is ideal?

They are the same damn thing, you have torsion bars in the front and coil or leaf springs in the rear. It seems you want someone to hold your hand and babysit you through the process when it has all been covered before, good luck with that!

Sorry man. Just real dumb when it comes to cars. I thought I was looking at two different methods for suspension. I appreciate the help though.
