Anyone done any mileage comparisons between regular and premium? Fuel is really getting pricey here.. And we are the oil capital! Makes no sense... I just filled up the gen 3 with regular and it took $106! Can't wait to fill the diesel Paj...

I'll start a build thread on here too, if there's any interest? Seems most of the active gen3s are hangin @ Expo these days.

This truck is not getting too wild, but I'll do some things...

No difference for me, I tried a few tanks of premium when we first got the truck almost 3 years and 30k ago. Don't run it now.

Maybe a change if would have pulled the battery cable and let it relearn driving habits - not sure.

Premium here is 10 to 12% more expensive, so at 18mpg would need to yield about 20mpg as break even - I've never seen it.

I like my GEN3 so far. Loud yes. 18 MPG 70/30 City/HIGH.

Makes my 87 Raider feel like a sub compact. Have not really tested the 4WD yet so can't say much about that. Impressed so far though.

Last time I saw prices like that was in 2004. A fillup today would be about $250 canadian or $220 USD. Any free spots and jobs over there for a Mitsu-loving electrician.

Getting the Wheeling Fever
I'm thinking about getting another Montero, either a Gen 2 or Gen 3 --- any more updates on how you like your Gen 3 so far?
