No difference for me, I tried a few tanks of premium when we first got the truck almost 3 years and 30k ago. Don't run it now. Maybe a change if would have pulled the battery cable and let it relearn driving habits - not sure. Premium here is 10 to 12% more expensive, so at 18mpg would need to yield about 20mpg as break even - I've never seen it.
