The adjustable shocks on my first 95 (aquired in 96) were great. However, two of the three Monteros since that did not have them, also did not have the wiring. Actually haven't checked on the current 00, as I assume it doesn't either. I looked at one in a JY and the wiring to the shocks was all wrapped into the rest of the frame wiring and I wasn't interested in dealing with that. Might be different for you as yours sits in the drive.

Do you have kids? Plan to if not? The 96 will be third row and sliding rear window, plus the split second row. Might be worth reconsidering fixing it and swapping from the 94 what you want.
