No, Snake Lake is after Fordyce. Never tried the other Con Entrance, thats a good idea.

Would not work out since the family would want to go. Anything is possible in a year. Theres a chance we will have money to do something early Fall. The question is what kind of gamble to we want to make on another shaky 3.5....

looks like fun, but my tires aren't big enough. 35s and the lift aren't in the budget for awhile. is there a section of the trail i can do with my small 33s?

well mongo 33's on the lwb would be doable but your gonna be on the end of a strap ALOT and really may not enjoy the trip fully i also highly recommend all trucks have proper armor for rockers and gas tank. What gets the 4dr's is that big it hangs on everything tucking that gas tank up into frame rails helps alot and so do 35's.
I hate scaring people off from these trips because they are a ton of fun and the views are amazing BUT i don't wanna lie and get you guys into something your not ready for these trails are very hard and if any truck isn't properly setup its gonna slow the whole group down. There have been some pretty nightmare mitsu trips in the sierra's in the past trust me on this.

i have sliders. but i can see the tank being an issue - and my new rear bumper. maybe i can fab up a new tank and bumper to get a better departure angle.

otherwise ive got the locker, lsd, sense of adventure , and awhile to figure it out.
