Ok, here's an update. I found out I was using the ground wire on the wrong piece. Whatever lies directly under the thermostat housing and just to the right with one terminal, that's what I mistakenly thought was the temp switch. After removing it and comparing it to the new part I knew it was wrong and located the correct switch.

I replaced the part, and when I ran the wire from the terminal to the negative battery terminal, my temp gauge just peaked in the red zone. Remove the wire and it went back down to the normal spot. This leads me to believe the switch is fine. Moving on to the OD relay. I need help.

I looked under the drivers side and see this:


The write plug the stretches furthest to the right was taped up to a wire harness and not plugged into anything. I believe the relays I've found on the drivers side are the seat belt relay furthest up the side, the intermittent wiper relay, but I need to know if the OD relay should be in this mess.

Then I went to the passengers side and snapped these:



Are any of THESE the OD relay lol?
