One of my customers is complaining that his engine intermittently starts reeving up to almost redline with knowbody in the truck! What the hell causes that? Has anybody ever had a turbo blow an oil seal on a d55/d56 and have this problem? I understand a diesel can run on it's own crankcase oil. The motor has less than 10 k on it. New sleeves , rings, pistons etc. It has a new 4d56 head from ebay which I am really pissed about. I got it from the UK and first the dowel pin is misaligned by about .020 and the seller refused to help saying I was full of crap basically. Than the rocker shaft broke!
