Also remember what you are planning to do, with your brakes. If you are rock climbing, never get semi metallic or ceramic pads. They take awhile to heat up, and stop properly. You don't want to wait for them to heat up, if you need to hold on the side of a mountain. If you do mostly city and highway driving, semi metallic pads are the best, and if you race(probably not in a Jeep)ceramic pads are the way to go. As for rotors, I found out that some Napas and Autozone get their rotors from the same Mexican foundry, so just use your best instincts on where you buy them. I do not recommend having rotors turned, especially for as cheap as the prices are for new ones. The reason Rotors are as thick as they are,is because the metal dissipates the heat.
