I need some door mirrors for my 1990 Montero. I would like some of the truck style, but the factory US ones would work. Does anybody have a clue where. I can get some. Thanks.

Which ones are you looking for? The 4-bolt with the arms or the flag style?

I would like some like these.

But the standard would be better than the cheap aftermarket ones I have now.

This Montero once visited the first incarnation of Montero Ranch, forget what I sold the gent. I believe they were buddies with Off-Roader Ray.

The mirrors on this are the everywhere-else mirrors and could be sourced in the Philippines, South America, UK, Australia, etc. Otherwise, you can find mini-truck West Coast mirrors through NAPA, Balkamp, Grote, and similar product lines.

Example of a Grote OE style mirror.

I have those on my Raider. They were original on an import to Australia. They are a pain to install and adjust. The up/down is done by bending the mounting tube. Every time you bend the tube you have to bend the top mounting clip. But..... many hours later I have good rear view mirrors. I do find that they block my vision forward to the left - have to be careful.

I just ordered a set of jeep wrangler side mirrors for 87-02. I measured my buddies jeep mirrors and looks like with small modification will work.

I installed my jeep wrangler mirrors, the bolts were the same thread as stockers. I only had to drill two holes, you can use one of the originals.
