How deep to drive cam seal?

Getting the Wheeling Fever

Changing out the cam seals on the '97 Sport 3.0l engine. How deeply should the seal be driven? When I pulled the old one out it was almost to the edge of the tapered part of the head; when I put the new one in, I find it can easily be driven further. Do I drive until it seats, or ???
