Need a Spot
If anyone is in the market for a off road type bumper, I am in the works of making two diff styles bumper for the the offraod enthusiast. I am new to the forums because i recently just bought a 1990 mitsubishi montero LWB and found that there is jack and !@#$ as far as front rear and swing arm and roof rack accessories go. Sooooo I am whipping some stuff out and testing the waters to see if anyone interested enough that I should purchase more material. I will post some pics of what i have so far and in the next few days of my other modifications. Cheers

Greg, welcome to the Wire. As has been stated previously by Toasty, the folks here are a particularly......."frugal" bunch. I just got the LandRaider from Curtis, and really like the Gen 2 ARB bumper on it. But to be truthful I would be hard pressed to shell out the money to purchase one new. you will prolly find one or two that would be willing to purchase a bolt on, nice bumper for their twenty plus year old vehicle, but don't see you retiring off of it. Especially being able to fabricate and weld myself. Now if'n you were to make plans to be able to sell for that, you might have a genuine product that would have viability. A lot of people would be able to make the pieces, and take them to a welder and have the bumper assembled/welded. Just a thought. Good luck, and great work!

Ha ha ha, we are a very frugal bunch and I'm no different.

Good luck with bumpers, we need all the options we can get.

Yes I know we are a frugal bunch as I am too. I didnt figure that I was going to retire or even earn a paycheck off of the deal, nor do i have the time. I was just doing some research and because we are such a tight nit community, I figured since i was fabricating one up that some other fellow members might like the design and be interested in one as well. Like Toasty said, we need all of the options that we can get. Thanks for the replies. I have been really busy these last few weeks but hope to have a couple of progess pics up later this week.

Hey, wasn't trying to burst a bubble or anything. How about little things?
1. High-lift holder. Something that thebase would be on the rear wall, with the pole going over the rear wheelwell. Something that could be bolt-on.
2. Gas can holders
3. etc, etc, etc
