I have some bumper building tips for you and this apply everyone building bumpers in general so don't feel like i'm crapping on your build.

Don't mount tight or even close to tight to the body, this is the biggest mistake i see people make. It's not so much of a build tip as it is a mounting tip. Every ARB bumper we saw at this years Overland Expo was mounted flush or nearly flush to the body. Any one who has ever actually hit something with their bumper or wheels can tell you that bumpers "move" <kind of. It doesn't matter how rigid the bumper may be or how awesome the mounting is because the body is soft mounted and the frame will flex just a little when the truck is crossed up.
And if it's mounted tight to the body and you hit something you might as well have just crashed into a bumper. As a basic rule i'd say keep an 1" away from the body, and if you do a wrap around the corners i try to make them clear the body by that same 1" rule. The ends have the most likelihood of flexing and it's nice to have them clear the body for removal and installation.
