The reality is that Obama has never displayed genuine respect for the Office of President of the United States. The same holds for the First Lady. Remember, she had a revelation and did admit to experiencing her first moment of being proud to be an American, after being in the position and spending taxpayer money??
So, there are the rabid Obama haters. Next, there are the rabid "had to hold my nose to vote for anyone but Obama".
And, even the special ones that are rabid anti-Obama but don't bother to vote because they don't like the choices (not a true Conservative, or just another RINO).
Wow, and you have the audacity to complain about low information voters??
The reality is that you get what you vote (or do not vote) for.
Not voting because the candidate does not measure up to your standards is -- apathy.
Six years ago Obama said what he was going to do. MCCain/Palin challenged him and spent more energy fighting Republican opposition that detracted from the quest for the presidency. Two years ago, Romney/Ryan challenged Obama and spent more energy fighting Republican opposition that detracted from the quest for the presidency.
So, for those that have followed the meteoric rise of Obama from his term in the Senate to his ascendancy to the highest office in the land, it should be no surprise that his goal was to fundamentally change the U.S. He is accomplishing that goal through divisive/racial politics that crates a feeding frenzy around anyone that opposes him.
Conservative forums are not immune from that toxic feeding frenzy. In fact, it is the feeding frenzy in the conservative forums that is keeping opposition to Obama and his agenda an ineffective voice.
The coming election cycle will be a big test. The real question is: is there opposition to the failed policies of the liberal agenda as being pushed by Obama and his supporters? Or, are the bloated egos of that opposition willing to forego a chance to halt the liberal driven changes? How many are not going to vote because the candidate is not "Tea Party" approved or is a RINO or is not conservative enough??
As a nation, we have real problems to deal with. Currently, those problems as linked to the liberal/progressive agenda. Changing that means electing opposing politicians that provide an alternative. Remember, How many are not going to vote because the candidate is not "Tea Party" approved or is a RINO or is not conservative enough??
