So I went ahead and bypassed the FIAC valve and the tuck started right up and had a rock solid idle about 900 rpms, I could manually set it where I wanted it by adjusting the screw. I thought I was good to go so i drove it about a mile and it just died. Nothing. So I rolled it back home (fortunately there is a slight hill driving away from my house so I just coast back home) anyway I think i need to go the computer route again, I checked all the wiring nothing is cracked or frayed, I have pretty much eliminated any problems with the throttle body sensors. Timing is good, It would have idled all day if I let it. Got to to search for a good 89 Mits computer now. Anyone got one? . . .
