Although they have not been five days in a row, I have spent the last five shop days replacing parts on the 90 LWB.
The alternator I purchased from Oreilly's when I lived in Dallas in 2002 was replaced by a new free of charge/warrantied alternator.
I purchased new rotors from Rockauto almost a year ago. Installed those.
Obviously I repacked all the bearings.
While I was in there, I replaced the outer tie rods, the lower ball joints and aligned the steering. I have some, new to me BFG AT's going on the front.
Recharged the AC.
Unfortunately, I had to seal up the sunroof. everything had rotted out. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
I lowered the T-bar lift up front a little to help with the ride.
I purchased some Aisin manual hubs a the salvage yard, went to install them and realized they came off a 4 cylinder. So now I have some manual hubs for sale.
Been a good week. I will now have my wife drive my beloved 90 Montero so I can get the 88 Suburban ready to sell.

I thought the axle shafts on the 4 banger were smaller than the 6 banger? Is this not true? I will measure this weekend. The hubs appear to be in great shape. The came off an extremely base model Montero. I think it was an 86 or 87.

No difference in the outer CV spline. The Aisin manual hubs work on Gen I and Gen II models.
